Preservation of Asphalt: NACE Webinar

On Thursday, December 4, Corrective Asphalt Materials (CAM) conducted a NACE Connect webinar with nearly 100 participants on the topic of pavement preservation.

Noah Butler, from Roadway Management Technologies (RMT) joined us and provided insights into managing road inventory and investment. We also covered the current challenges with our roads, put forth a different approach to road asset management, and took a close look at the chemistry of our asphalt today. In addition, we discussed a couple of studies demonstrating the real-world results of genuine asphalt preservation and wrapped up with some key considerations when selecting a technology to extend the life of your roads.

The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive with several questions about timing of preservation treatments, road candidates for preservation and cost comparisons.
